Questions
Why does my photo show sideways on a form?
Phones often save the camera angle as a tag instead of turning the pixels, and some exam, job and visa portals ignore that tag. Rotating here turns the pixels, so the photo shows the right way up everywhere.
What do Crop to fill and White corners mean?
Straightening by a few degrees leaves empty corners. Crop to fill trims the edges so there are none. White corners keeps the whole photo and fills the corners with white.
Does rotating lower the quality?
Turns of 90°, 180° and 270° move pixels without blending them. A JPG is saved again at quality 92, and a PNG stays lossless.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The rotation runs in your browser, and the photo never leaves your device.
