Convert image to 300 DPI
Many forms ask for a 300 DPI photo or signature. This sets the DPI stored in your JPG or PNG to 300 without saving the picture again, so it looks the same and keeps its KB.

Questions
Will 300 DPI make my photo clearer?
No. DPI is only a number in the file header. Clarity depends on the number of pixels, so a 300 × 300 pixel photo prints at 1 × 1 inch at 300 DPI, whatever the file says.
My form wants 300 DPI and under 50 KB. What do I do?
Resize to the KB limit first with the exact-KB resizer, then set 300 DPI here. Changing the DPI adds at most 18 bytes, and usually none, so the file stays inside the limit.
How many pixels does a 300 DPI photo need?
Multiply the print size in inches by 300. A 35 × 45 mm photo needs 413 × 531 pixels, and a 2 × 2 inch photo needs 600 × 600.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file is read and changed in your browser and never leaves your device.
